The project concerns the N2 highway between km 23,400 and km 24,000 and concerns the rehabilitation of the Gentilino tunnel. The services performed, local works management (phase 52 SIA 103), commissioning and final procedures (Phase 53 SIA 103), concerned the restoration of the deteriorated concrete, reconstruction of the surface course, restoration of the borders, replacement of frames and degraded manhole covers, rehabilitation of the main sewage evacuation collector, compliance of the safety barriers at the portals, installation of a new optical guide system, installation of the hydrant pipe connection under the road platform (North portal). The works were carried out at night with total closure to traffic, at first on the N/S tube and then on the S/N tube with bidirectional traffic in the tube in operation.
